Wallthickness measurement instrument
The Wall thickness Measurement Instrument model WMI 630 enables the measuring of the wall thickness of pipes with high accuracy. The WMI series ensure that measurement data is highly accurate and independent from the individual user.
The measuring is conducted with a high-precision gauge which is mounted on the upper arm of the retainer. The height of the retainer is adjustable by a handwheel and due to the high-precision guide channel the retainer can be smoothly adjusted in height.
As the pipe sample is located on a sliding rail, the sample can be adjusted in longitudinal direction. These features enable measuring of the wall thickness on random points of the pipe sample.
The unit features sample carriers to safely and steadily hold the pipe sample. Integrated rollers enable an easy turning of the pipe around its longitudinal axis.
The WMI 630 comes with software which records wall thickness and describe it in a diagram; also maximum, minimum wall thickness & average wall thickness can be acquired and be saved automatically an represented in the diagram.
