Bayerteq endclosures for pressure tests – stainless steel AISI 304
according to ISO 1167, ASTM D 1598 & ASTM D 1599
Bayerteq end closures are designed for internal hydrostatic pressure testing of pipes and fittings. It is used to seal the sample in order to generate internal pressure within the sample while keeping the pipe-sample at a certain constant ambient temperature.
For PE, PP, PPr and for PVc, UPVC, PVC-O
Bayerteq offers endclosures with and without a metal rod. The endclosures without metal rod are used for pipe samples from Polyolefins like PE, PP, PPR etc whereas the endclosures with metal rod are used for PVC, UPVC. For PVC-O we have a special solution with endclosures with extra gripping area and double o’rings to avoid the ‘bulging’ effect of PVC-O.
For small and large diameter pipe samples
The design for smaller endclosures differs from the design for medium sized and larger endclosures.

for large DN endclosures Bayerteq has developed a special, patented design:
- no need for any mounting or press device; even for endclosures up to 3000 mm an overhead crane / forklift will suffice to quickly and safely mount the endclosures on the pipe sample.
- Hollow-out design reduces weight with appr. 30% compared to conventional design
- a specific depth & design of the O-ring which ensures that even non- chamfered and oval pipe- samples are correctly sealed.
- air release valve & water drain valve directly at the end closure.
- patented structure ensures easy mounting and perfect sealing. Split type clamps help to realize automatic centering.
